Class teacher supply
Job description
We are working with a lovely 2 form entry school in Daventry who regualrly need supply teachers to cover sickness, course cover and PPA. This would be across all year groups so they are looking for a fully qualified teacher who is experienced across both KS1 and KS2.
The role is for daily supply so there will be no responsibility for planning, preparing and marking. This makes it a perfect role for a teacher who wants to still work in the classroom but has less responsibility within the role.
As a supply teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2
- Creating a positive, inclusive and enagaging learning environment
- Following school policies and classroom routines
- Work alongside a teachin assistant and other school support staff
- Support pupils in academic, social and emotional development
- Have a strong understanding on the National Curriculum and statutory assessments
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience across both KS1 and KS2
- Has a valid DBS certificate or is willing to obtain one
- Has a caring, positive, and approachable attitude
- Is passionate about supporting children's education and development
- Can adapt quickly and confidently to new classroom settings
