Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? Ready to inspire learning and help shape young minds? Recently completed your PGCE and looking to start your teaching career?

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working Class Teacher to work in a primary school in Penarth with a January start date.

The Role:

You will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment while supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development. Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a safe, supportive, and enjoyable classroom environment that builds confidence.

  • Building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

  • Delivering constructive and effective feedback to support progress.

  • Encouraging a child-led approach to learning.

  • Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • Teaching across the primary curriculum, including your specialist subject.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have strong classroom management skills.

  • Be up to date with the current Welsh Curriculum.

  • Be passionate about enhancing every child’s learning and wellbeing.

  • Show motivation to continuously develop professionally.

  • Be confident teaching pupils from Nursery through to Year 6.

Essential Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) status.

  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (or willingness to register).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
