Teaching Personnel are working with a well-respected and loving primary school based in the heart of Salisbury, dedicated to providing a caring and inspiring environment where children can thrive. They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract from September 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a close-knit staff who work collaboratively to deliver high-quality learning experiences that spark curiosity and foster independence.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of early childhood development
- Builds strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Plans and delivers engaging and creative lessons
- Has high expectations for all learners
- Show effective classroom management, teaching and planning
- Is able to monitor, assess, record and report
Other professional requirements:
- QTS qualification and other relevant qualifications
- Be willing to update and enhance theirskills through professional development
- Participate in school meetings
- Uphold school policies and procedures
- Have a valid enhanced child only DBS which is on the update service
