Class Teacher – Four-Form Entry Junior School (Newham, E7)
Location: Newham, E7
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (Paid to Scale)

About the Role

As a Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum.

  • Work collaboratively with your year-group team to share planning and best practice.

  • Create a positive, stimulating learning environment where all pupils can thrive.

  • Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs.

  • Establish strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

  • Contribute to the wider school community, enrichment activities, and school values.

Person Specification

We welcome applications from:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS essential)

  • ECTs looking for a supportive school to complete their induction

  • Experienced teachers seeking a new challenge in a nurturing, team-driven setting

You should have:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum

  • A passion for inspiring young learners

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A commitment to equality, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing

  • Two recent references (covering the past 24 months)
  • Overseas Police Check (if applicable – for candidates who have lived outside the UK for 3+ months in the past 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
