Class Teacher – Primary Schools in Sheffield and Barnsley
Are you a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher looking for your next role in Sheffield and Barnsley? We are working closely with a number of warm and welcoming primary schools across the city who are seeking motivated teachers to join their teams for immediate and September 2025 starts.
Location: Sheffield and Barnsley
Role: Class Teacher (EYFS, KS1 or KS2 – based on your experience/preference)
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
⏰ Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time | Long-Term, Supply, or Temp-to-Perm
✏️ Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons
- Support and track pupil progress in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals
- Ensure all pupils are supported academically and emotionally
✅ What You’ll Need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
