Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, Care Worker, or SEN Support Worker looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across a range of specialist educational settings.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Help students access learning and achieve their individual goals
  • Build positive relationships and act as a trusted role model
  • Support emotional regulation, confidence, and social development
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

We would love to hear from candidates who have experience in:

  • SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision settings
  • Teaching Assistant or Learning Support roles
  • Youth work, mentoring, residential care, or support work
  • Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or challenging behaviour
  • Building positive relationships with vulnerable young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
