Caretaker / Site Manager – Bradford

Hours: 7:00am–10:00am & 2:00pm–6:30pm (Split Shift)
Pay: £90-100/day | Full-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker / Site Manager to join a busy school in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in school site management, maintenance, and health & safety to play a key role in the smooth running of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unlock and secure the school site each day.

  • Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the premises.

  • Ensure classrooms, corridors, and facilities are safe, clean, and ready for use.

  • Monitor site security and report any issues promptly.

  • Liaise with contractors and oversee site access for deliveries or maintenance work.

  • Support the school with setting up rooms and moving furniture when required.

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and fire regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Caretaker, Site Supervisor, or Facilities Manager (school setting preferred).

  • Good knowledge of DIY, maintenance, and health & safety procedures.

  • Reliable and flexible – able to work split shifts.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
