Behaviour support

Specialist provisions in and around the Burnley area are looking to hire behaviour support mentors to provide additional care for their pupils. The schools all cater for pupils with additional needs including, Special Educational Needs, Social Emotional Mental Health, Autism, ADHD, Speech Language and Communication Needs and challenging behaviours. The schools require additional support both now and in the new academic year for their new intake of pupils, they all provide their pupils with interventions to support the whole child both educationally and holistically.

As a behaviour support mentor your role is to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all pupils in your care, they will all have an EHCP (educational health care plan) and require additional support in all areas particularly that of ensuring acceptable behaviours and social situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
