Behaviour Support Assistant
Job description
A client school in Blackpool, Lancashire (FY1) are recruiting for a behaviour support assistant to join their KS2 team on a full-time basis starting in November 2025. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children who display challenging behaviour whilst liaising continually with the schools SENCO, Teachers and Parents.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with needs such as ADHD and ASC and will be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques at all times. The school would benefit from a compassionate TA who has a good sense of humour who is dedicated to assisting children with specific needs.
This post is to work in a modern primary school which was graded ‘GOOD’ at its last OFSTED inspection. The school boasts continual levels of progression for its children and has a strong, committed staffing team who adhere to the ‘inclusive’ ethos of the school. This primary school has a strong community feel and is looking for a Teaching Assistant who will get involved in all aspects of school life!

- Competitive rates of pay between £13.75 - £14.50 per hour – experience dependant.
- Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour is essential for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
