Teaching Personnel is recruiting a full-time ALN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a welcoming and highly supportive primary school in the Swansea area.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the school for the entire academic year (September 2026 – July 2027), allowing you to build meaningful relationships with pupils and become an integral part of the school community. For the right candidate, there is also the exciting possibility of securing a direct contract with the school following a successful placement.

Your Role

As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning by:

✨ Supporting children with a range of Additional Learning Needs.
Working alongside teachers and the ALNCo to deliver personalised support.
Adapting classroom activities to meet individual learning needs.
Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.

You don't need previous classroom experience to be successful in this role.
