EYFS Practitioner – Bank
Agency: Teaching Personnel
Location: Southport (PR8)
Start Date: Immediately
Rate of Pay: £13.75 per hour
Teaching Personnel are looking for committed, driven and passionate EYFS Practitioners to support a thriving nursery within the Southport area.

About the nursery:
- Specialises in helping children become confident, independent learners
- Located in a bright, welcoming property with two large outdoor areas to encourage outdoor play and exploration of the natural environment
- Multi-activity rooms suitable for creative sessions including dance, cooking, and sensory play
- Healthy, nutritious menus updated seasonally
- Separate play spaces tailored to different age groups and developmental stages
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to all children within the EYFS framework
- Support learning and development through play, planned activities, and observations
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for active learning
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery-specific policies accurately
- Communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents
- Adapt to a new nursery setting with professionalism and enthusiasm
What we are looking for:
- Experience working in EYFS settings (nurseries, reception classes, etc.) or any role involving children
- A nurturing, adaptable, and forward-thinking approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Willingness to complete our EYFS CPD training
- Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
