Location: Bristol BS4
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £92.66 - £105 per day
About the Role: We are recruiting for a caring, patient and dedicated individual to join a specialist education setting in BS4 as an Unqualified Autism Support and Behaviour Practitioner.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition and additional learning or behavioural needs. Formal qualifications are not essential. What matters most is the right attitude, a willingness to learn and relevant experience from backgrounds such as care work, youth support, psychology or education studies, sports coaching or similar people focused roles.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Autism Support and Behaviour Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs
• Supporting the delivery of personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies
• Helping with emotional regulation, communication skills and social interaction
• Applying Positive Behaviour Support approaches with guidance from senior staff
• Contributing to a safe, calm and nurturing learning environment
• Collaborating with teachers, therapists and the wider support team to ensure consistent care
• Promoting independence, confidence and positive outcomes for each learner

• Experience in care, youth work, psychology or education studies, sports coaching or other people focused environments
• A genuine interest in supporting neurodiverse children and young people
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• A willingness to learn and develop within the role
• Reliability and a team oriented approach
