A high achieving school in Trafford is seeking to appoint an Art teacher to begin on a full time basis as of January 2020. Delivering the curriculum to KS3 and KS4, the ideal candidate for this Art position will have experience planning, delivering and reviewing Art lessons and learning resources up to GCSE level with a proven track record of achieving pupil success. Open to both NQTs and experienced practitioners, this Art position is suitable for all qualified teachers.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS in the UK
  • Have excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Have experience contributing to reviewing and improving departmental resources
  • Be experienced tailoring and differentiating lesson content to suit pupil needs
  • Possess excellent subject knowledge
  • Have a track record of pupil attainment
  • Be confident in their classroom management abilities
  • Be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school
