Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: £130–£251 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and creative Art Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of young artists? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Newcastle Upon Tyne from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to nurturing creativity, encouraging self-expression, and helping students develop both artistic skills and confidence.

The Role

As an Art Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and imaginative lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity
  • Support students in developing practical artistic techniques and creative thinking skills
  • Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Art (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A proactive and creative approach to teaching and learning
  • A genuine passion for inspiring young people through art education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
