Position: Experienced Art Specialist Teacher (Long-Term and Day-to-Day) - York & Surrounding Areas

Role Overview:
As an Experienced Art Specialist Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you'll have the chance to inspire creativity and artistic expression across diverse schools in York and neighboring areas. Your role will entail crafting and delivering engaging Art lessons, nurturing students' talents, and fostering a love for creativity within a vibrant learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative Art lessons that align with curriculum standards and ignite students' imagination.
- Utilize a range of teaching methods and techniques to cater to students' unique artistic abilities and learning styles.
- Assess student progress through various assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Offer individualized guidance and support to students, encouraging their artistic development and self-expression.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning community.

Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated expertise in Art education with a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to cultivate positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Availability to work flexibly, with 3 to 5 days of availability per week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
