Art Teacher

Taunton Area | Full Time 

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded school in the Taunton Area to recruit a Full Time Art Teacher, with a potential permanent position for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity for ECTs and experienced teachers who are passionate about creativity and visual arts.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across the curriculum

  • Teach a broad range of artistic techniques and media

  • Opportunity to deliver Photography at KS3/KS4 (depending on experience)

  • Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, creativity, and pupil engagement

  • Contribute to the wider creative life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Art Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or ECT

  • Passionate about Art and creative education

  • Photography experience or specialism is advantageous

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
