Art Teacher – Sturminster

Full-Time | Immediate Start

A vibrant and creative secondary school in Sturminster is seeking an inspiring Art Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This full‑time position is perfect for someone passionate about developing students’ artistic skills and encouraging their creative confidence.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver dynamic Art lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, supporting learners of all abilities as they experiment with different media, refine techniques, and grow as young artists.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised qualification)
  • Strong organisational abilities and confident classroom management
  • A talent for designing engaging, skills-focused lessons that meet curriculum aims
  • Secure subject knowledge and a commitment to high-quality teaching
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
  • A flexible, reflective approach that supports a wide range of creative needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
