Art Teacher- Part time- Solihull- January 2026
Are you a qualified Art teacher seeking a new venture for January?
Do you want the flexibility of working part time?
We are in collaboration with an OFSTED rated "Good" school based in the heart of Solihull to appoint an Art teacher on a part time basis in January. You will be working for 3 days a week up untill the end of the academic year.
The school is renowned for its excellent classroom behaviour and supportive network of staff.
Important information:
Rate of pay: £165-220 (per day, dependent upon pay scale)
Hours: Part time x3 days a week
Location: Solihull, B92
Start date: January 2026
Ideal Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Bachelors degree in Art
Previous experience teaching Art & Design within a UK secondary school
Excellent classroom presence and classroom management skills
Fantastic subject knowledge
Able to teach different abilities and adapt to suit learning styles within the class
You will be expected to:
Plan and deliver engaging Art & Design classes to a range of year groups and abilities
Regularly assess the progress of pupils
Provide insightful feedback to support pupils with their learning and development
Collaborate with colleagues with the Art/Design departments
Maintain committed to safeguarding and follow schools policies and procedures at all times
Communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents
Create a safe, positive learning environment for children of all abilities to thrive and to be able to express themselves through art

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
