We are currently working with a number of well-regarded secondary schools across Oldham that are looking to appoint talented Art Teachers to join their departments. Opportunities are available immediately and for upcoming term starts, with both long-term and part-time positions on offer.

This is an excellent opportunity to inspire young people through creativity and visual expression while delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Some schools may also offer the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, encouraging creativity and independent thinking, assessing student progress, and creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive. You will work as part of a supportive department committed to raising achievement and fostering a love of the arts.

We welcome applications from experienced Art Teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to begin or further develop their teaching career within successful secondary schools.

The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification and have experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting. Strong classroom management skills, excellent subject knowledge, and a genuine passion for education are essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
