Art and Photography Teacher – Durham Secondary School

Teaching Personnel needs a qualified Art and Photography teacher for a Durham secondary school. Full time position, immediate start. Teaching students aged 11 to 16.

What you'll be teaching:

GCSE Art and Photography. Delivering lessons that build creative confidence and self-expression. The school supports students who may have SEMH challenges (anxiety, depression, attachment issues), so you need a calm and empathetic teaching style alongside your subject expertise.

You need:

• QTS (or equivalent qualification)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Good communication abilities
• Creative mindset and genuine passion for helping students develop
• Enhanced DBS (or willing to get one)
