Job description

A welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their creative department on a part-time basis (3 days per week), starting as soon as possible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, nurturing creativity, confidence and self-expression within a supportive and well-resourced environment.

The Role:

  • Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons

  • Encouraging students to experiment with a range of media and techniques

  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress

  • Contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking department

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Has experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills

  • Is creative, organised and passionate about visual arts education

  • Has the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
