Art Teacher – Brixham Area, Devon
Full-Time | ASAP Start | Secondary School

Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working in partnership with a supportive secondary school in the Brixham area to recruit a passionate and creative Art Teacher for a full-time position starting ASAP. The Role and Responsibilities
As an Art Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Encourage creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking

  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

  • Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community

  • Prepare students for assessments and GCSE coursework where applicable

  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching experience

  • Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for creative subjects

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

  • A flexible, committed, and professional approach
