Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working in partnership with a supportive secondary school in the Brixham area to recruit a passionate and creative Art Teacher for a full-time position starting ASAP. The Role and Responsibilities
As an Art Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum

Encourage creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking

Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
-
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Contribute to departmental planning and the wider school community
-
Prepare students for assessments and GCSE coursework where applicable
-
Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times
The Ideal Candidate
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching experience
-
Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting
-
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for creative subjects
-
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
-
A flexible, committed, and professional approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
