Ad Hoc Supply Teacher – Primary
Cambridge and Surrounding Areas – Via Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel is seeking flexible and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to work on an ad hoc basis across a range of primary schools. This is a great opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the chance to work in different school settings without the commitment of a long-term role.

As a Supply Teacher, you will step into classrooms to deliver pre-set work, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. This role suits confident practitioners who can adapt quickly to new schools and classroom routines.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure pupils remain engaged
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing throughout the school day
• Follow school procedures and expectations
• Provide brief handover feedback to school staff at the end of the day
• Create a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment

Ideal Candidate Needs:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools
• Confident classroom management and ability to adapt quickly
• A can-do, flexible attitude and willingness to work across various schools
• Driving licence and ability to travel is highly desired, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
