Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a popular and highly regarded Catholic primary school in St Helens to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from November or December 2026.

The successful candidate will provide classroom support across Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential while contributing to the wider life of the school.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has recent experience working within a primary school setting
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Has experience supporting pupils in KS2
• Builds strong relationships with children and colleagues
• Is proactive, enthusiastic and committed to helping pupils succeed
• Demonstrates patience, adaptability and excellent communication skills
• Can commit to a full-time, long-term position
