Make an Impact This Summer Term: 1:1 Tutors Needed (Start After Easter Half Term!)
Are you passionate about helping young people succeed? Looking for a flexible tutoring role where you can truly make a difference before the academic year wraps up?
TP Tutors is looking for motivated, supportive educators to deliver 1:1 tuition in Maths, English, or Science to primary and secondary students in your local area. Starting after the Easter half term, this is your chance to help pupils gain confidence, catch up on key skills, and finish the year on a high.
Your Role:
• Provide personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to each student’s needs and abilities
• Teach Maths, English or Science in a home, library, or community setting
• Support pupils who need help catching up, staying engaged, or boosting confidence
• Assess progress, address gaps in learning, and set clear, achievable targets
• Deliver engaging sessions that build both skills and self-belief
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment
About You:
• Experience working with children or young people (in education or similar settings)
• Confidence in your subject specialism across KS1–KS4
• Ability to adapt your teaching to suit different learning styles
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A genuine desire to help students thrive
Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
