Do you have a passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning? We are seeking empathetic and reliable tutors in Poole to provide targeted support for learners with additional needs.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Poole and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time / Full-Time)

Your Role
As an SEN Tutor, you’ll provide personalised support that helps learners re-engage with education, develop key skills, and grow in confidence.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver 1:1 or small group tuition tailored to individual needs
• Support students with a range of learning differences and challenges
• Build strong, trusting relationships with learners
• Use creative approaches to keep sessions engaging
• Monitor progress and adapt sessions accordingly

We’re Looking For

• Background in education, youth work, mentoring, or SEN support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm, resilient, and adaptable nature
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices
• Local availability within Poole and nearby areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
