Job description

Help Learners Thrive Differently – SEN Tutor (Brighton & Hove)

Education isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some learners need a more personalised approach to reach their full potential—and that’s where you come in.

TP Tutors is recruiting dedicated SEN Tutors in Brighton & Hove to provide tailored, one-to-one support for students who benefit from alternative learning environments.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (part-time/full-time roles available)

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver customised one-to-one tuition that meets individual needs
  • Support students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Encourage independence, motivation, and self-belief
  • Adapt lesson content and delivery to suit each learner
  • Conduct sessions in home or community-based settings

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people & Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Patient, understanding, and flexible in your approach
  • Willingness to travel locally within Brighton & Hove
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
