Inspire Progress – SEN Tutors Wanted in Basingstoke

Are you driven to help young people overcome challenges and succeed in their education? We’re looking for committed SEN Tutors in Basingstoke to provide personalised, one-to-one support that builds confidence and unlocks potential.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Basingstoke and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time / Full-Time)

About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who benefit from a tailored learning approach. You’ll create a positive, structured environment that supports both academic progress and personal development.

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, individualised sessions
  • Support students with a range of additional needs
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit each learner
  • Build trust, confidence, and motivation
  • Monitor progress and refine learning plans

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience in teaching, tutoring, or SEN support
  • Patient, understanding, and adaptable approach
  • Strong ability to build rapport with young people
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding practices
  • Based in or able to commute around Basingstoke

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
