1:1 Tutor – Doncaster (DN12)

Location: Doncaster, DN12
Role: 1:1 Tutor
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Part-time, weekdays during school hours

Are you an experienced and passionate 1:1 Tutor looking for a rewarding opportunity in Doncaster?

We are looking for a dedicated tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a student, helping them build confidence, improve their academic skills, and make positive progress in their education.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to the student's individual needs.

  • Plan lessons according to the student's ability, learning style, and targets.

  • Support the student with their academic progress and confidence.

  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.

  • Build a positive and supportive relationship with the student.

  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.

  • Work closely with the school and wider support team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience delivering 1:1 tuition or teaching in an educational setting.

  • Strong communication and classroom-management skills.

  • Experience supporting students with SEN is desirable.

  • Relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications are desirable.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
