1:1 Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Location: Wolverhampton
We are a specialist education supply agency currently recruiting towards a dedicated 1:1 teaching assistant to work at one of our partner schools in WV10.
The role is for an indiviual who is passionate about making a difference, and providing tailored support to a child who requires additional help to access learning.
The Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide individual support to a pupil with additional needs (SEND, SEMH, ASD or learning difficulties)
- Support learning both inside and outside the classroom
- Implement strategies set by the class teacher and SENCo
- Help promote positive behaviour, engagement and emotional wellbeing
- Build a strong, supportive relationship with the pupil
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a primary setting (essential)
- Experience supporting students with additional needs (essential)
- A patient, caring and resilient role
- Ability to adapt to different school environments
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
