1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: North Liverpool
Start Date: Mon 3rd November
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £90 - £100 per day based on experience
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and committed 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to work within Good-rated Ofsted secondary SEN schools in North Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to a student with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to implement tailored learning strategies.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting students with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs).
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Team Teach or similar training is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
