1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Exmouth, Devon
Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: 2nd November
Contract: Ongoing, Term-Time Only
Pay: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience)

A friendly primary school in Exmouth is looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional learning needs on a part-time basis, three days per week.
This role would suit someone who is patient, nurturing and committed to helping a child build confidence, develop social skills and access learning successfully throughout the school day. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent support tailored to the pupil's individual needs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing 1:1 support throughout the school day
- Adapting learning activities to meet individual requirements
- Encouraging participation and independence in the classroom
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour strategies
- Building a trusting relationship with the pupil, parents and school staff
- Monitoring progress and communicating effectively with the wider support team
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children, ideally within an educational setting
- Is calm, caring and able to build positive relationships
- Has an understanding of SEND, including Autism, ADHD or SEMH needs
- Can use initiative and adapt to changing situations
- Is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
