Help Young Learners Build Confidence, Skills and a Love for Learning
Are you passionate about supporting children in their educational journey? Are you looking for a flexible role where you can provide personalised one-to-one support outside of a traditional classroom setting?
TP Tutors is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Tutors to work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering targeted support that helps children develop academically while growing in confidence.
The Role
As a Primary Tutor, you will:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition tailored to each child's individual learning needs.
- Support pupils in core subjects, including English, Maths and where appropriate, wider curriculum areas.
- Provide face-to-face tuition in pupils' homes, local libraries or other agreed community venues.
- Help children strengthen key skills, close learning gaps and prepare for important educational milestones.
- Plan and adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Track progress and celebrate achievements to encourage positive outcomes.
- Create a supportive and nurturing learning environment where children can thrive.
What We're Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who have:
- Experience working with primary-aged children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- The ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, encouraging and child-centred approach to learning.
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
Essential Requirements
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one (support available).
- Right to work in the UK.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
