Teaching Assistant

Job Title: 1 on 1 Teaching Assistant (Primary)

Pay Rate: £10-£12 per hour

Start Date: ASAP (Once vetting completed)

The ideal candidate will have:

• A supportive and nurturing approach with strong classroom management.
• Demonstrate a desire to research and find out more in order to improve their own practice.
• A good understanding of the Primary curriculum.

• Ability to deal with challenging behaviour.
• Patience and a sense of humour.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Previous experience with SEN.

You Will Need

• Child Only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• UK Drivers licence (Desired.)
• 2 References from most recent employers
• Available for a minimum of 2 days per week

Job Role

Getting the classroom ready for lessons and supporting students in group activities, outings and sports events. Other daily work includes helping children who need extra support to complete tasks, looking after children who are upset or have had accidents, clearing away materials and equipment after lessons, listening to children read and reading to them.
