1:1 SEN Tutor (Core Subjects) - Sefton, L31 2HB

£25-£30 per hour | Part-Time | Weekdays During School Hours

TP-Tutors is seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEN Tutor to provide tailored educational support to pupils in the Sefton (L31 2HB) area.

This role involves working with children and young people who may have Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to build confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve their academic goals through personalised tuition.

The Role

  • Deliver 1:1 tuition in core subjects (English, Maths and Science).
  • Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
  • Support pupils with a range of SEN and additional learning needs.
  • Track progress and provide session feedback.
  • Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and achievement.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Strong knowledge of core subjects.
  • Teaching qualification, tutoring experience, or relevant educational background desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Reliable and committed approach to supporting learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
