Job description

1:1 English Tutor – Nottinghamshire

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated 1:1 English Tutor to support students across Nottinghamshire. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced educator who wants to make a genuine difference to students’ academic progress and personal confidence.

The Role

You will work one-to-one with students, planning and delivering engaging, tailored English sessions that meet individual learning needs. Your support will help learners build skills, confidence and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised English tuition sessions

  • Adapt teaching approaches to suit individual learning styles and abilities

  • Support students with academic development and confidence-building

  • Track progress and provide constructive feedback

About You

  • You have experience teaching or tutoring English

  • You are confident in planning and delivering engaging sessions

  • You are patient, encouraging and passionate about helping students succeed

  • You are reliable and able to manage your own schedule effectively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
