The Role
A highly oversubscribed school in Everton is looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The pupil requires significant SEND support, including SEMH provision.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

- Provide assistance both within the classroom and in alternative learning spaces, occasionally supporting other pupils where required.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCo to assess the pupil’s individual needs, identify barriers to learning, and monitor progress.
Experience of working 1:1 with a pupil who has an EHCP would be advantageous. However, relevant experience with children or adults with additional needs will also be considered.
The School
This school is well established in the local community and is recognised for its warm, inclusive ethos, underpinned by strong Christian values. It has been consistently praised for fostering a strong sense of belonging and for its commitment to making a positive impact locally.

This is a school that genuinely cares, and it provides a supportive environment in which to grow professionally.
