Pay: Paid to scale

Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity?
We are working with a welcoming primary school in the Blackfield/Fawley area seeking a dedicated Year R Teacher to take over a well-established class of 25 pupils from January 2027. To ensure a smooth transition for both staff and children, there is the opportunity to begin in December 2026, allowing time to settle into the school, get to know the class, and work alongside the current teacher before taking full responsibility in January.
The Role
- Full class teaching responsibility for a Year R class of 25 pupils.
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
- Work closely with experienced support staff and the wider school team.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Continue the excellent progress already being made within the class.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within KS1 is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
- Passionate about supporting children in their early educational journey.
- Able to commit for the remainder of the academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
