Year 6 Teacher – Full Time (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Leigh - Upper Key Stage 2 Role

A primary school in Leigh is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to take on a full-time position with the potential to become permanent.

This role would suit a teacher who is confident leading a Year 6 class, preparing pupils for SATs, and supporting them through their final year of primary education.

Role Overview:

  • Lead a Year 6 class, delivering targeted and effective lessons
  • Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and emotional readiness for secondary school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS and have experience teaching in Upper KS2, particularly Year 6
  • Have a strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment requirements
  • Be able to motivate and challenge pupils of varying abilities
  • Demonstrate resilience, organisation, and strong leadership in the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
