Year 5 Teacher

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Year 5 Teachers to work across Primary Schools in the Solihull District. We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable KS2 teachers who are willing to support Year 5 students academically.

As a Year 5 teacher you will be expected to:

  • Plan creative & engaging lessons and deliver the Year 5 curriculum to the class.
  • Monitor, record and report the attainment, development, and progress of the students.
  • Work alongside the senior leadership team to raise attainment.
  • Develop and establish a rapport between students, parents and other staff to build a trusting relationship and clear line of communication between home and school.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a QTS or equivalent.
  • Have experience in a Year 5 classroom.
  • Have a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment expectations.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and behaviour management skills.
  • Be familiar with safeguarding policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
