Job Title: Year 5 Class Teacher
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time (permanent / fixed-term – amend as required)
Salary: MPS / UPS (dependent on experience)
Location: Fallowfield, M14
The Role
We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher to join one of our supportive and inclusive primary schools from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning and inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform teaching
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
- Uphold and promote the school’s values and safeguarding procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and attainment
- Be reflective, organised, and committed to professional development
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be enthusiastic, flexible, and a team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
