Year 5 Teacher – Full Time (Summer Term)

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Canton area of Cardiff. This is a full-time role starting after the Easter holidays through to the end of the summer term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-established class within a school that prides itself on its inclusive ethos, strong community values, and supportive leadership team.

The Role:

• Full-time Year 5 class teacher
• Planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities included
• Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the curriculum
• Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development in a nurturing environment

✅ The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A positive, proactive, and enthusiastic approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
