Year 4/5 Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are working with a lovely small primary school in the CF3 area that is looking to welcome a confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support their Year 4/5 class from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, supportive team where staff genuinely enjoy coming to work and pupils are engaged, friendly, and eager to learn.
The Role:
- Full-time Teaching Assistant position in a mixed Year 4/5 class
- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning
- Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where needed
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting (essential)
- Someone proactive, outgoing, and confident in supporting learning
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly
- Experience supporting a range of needs (SEN/EAL experience is a bonus)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
