Year 2 Teacher – Full Time Position (Temp to Perm)

An inclusive and nurturing primary school in Leigh is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.
This role is ideal for a practitioner who understands the importance of early learning foundations and can confidently guide pupils through the transition towards the end of KS1, including preparation for SATs.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging lessons that support phonics, literacy, and numeracy development
- Assess pupil progress and provide targeted support where needed
- Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff

- A qualified teacher with experience in KS1, ideally Year 2
- Strong knowledge of phonics schemes and early assessment frameworks
