Year 2 Teacher – Full Time Position (Temp to Perm)
Primary School in Leigh / Start Date: September

An inclusive and nurturing primary school in Leigh is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

This role is ideal for a practitioner who understands the importance of early learning foundations and can confidently guide pupils through the transition towards the end of KS1, including preparation for SATs.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging lessons that support phonics, literacy, and numeracy development
  • Assess pupil progress and provide targeted support where needed
  • Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff

What the School is Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with experience in KS1, ideally Year 2
  • Strong knowledge of phonics schemes and early assessment frameworks
  • A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
