Full-Time Year 3 Teacher Required – Burnley Primary School

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Burnley is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time position offered on a temporary to permanent basis, providing an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role within a supportive school environment.

The Role

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers
• Support the wider life of the school and contribute to extracurricular activities where appropriate
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attendance

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A passion for raising attainment and supporting pupil development
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
