Job description

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring young learners in Key Stage 2.

Year 3 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity

Location: Burnley
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Contract: Full-Time
Salary: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development
  • Promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of all pupils

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development
  • Have excellent communication and organisational abilities
