Pay: From £172.98 (depending on experience)
About the Role
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established 2-form entry primary school in the CF63 area, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher for the full academic year starting September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive KS2 team, where collaboration, planning support, and shared resources are a key strength of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
- Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 3 teacher in a 2-form entry setting
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Assess and track pupil progress effectively
- Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities, including ALN
- Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom organisation
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching KS2 (Year 3 preferred)
- Strong understanding of the Curriculum for Wales
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A team-focused approach to planning and teaching
- A passion for supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
Desirable:
- Experience within a 2-form entry setting
- Experience supporting pupils with ALN
- Welsh language skills
