Salary: £140 – £233 per day

Year 3 Primary Teacher – Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons that align with the Year 3 curriculum.
- Teach core areas including English, Maths, and Science, ensuring pupils develop strong foundational skills.
- Track, assess, and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform future planning.
- Differentiate lessons to meet a diverse range of needs, including SEND, EAL, and SEMH.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues—SENCO, teaching assistants, and SLT—to ensure consistency and support across KS2.
- Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about progress and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate pupil records and contribute to assessments and reports.
- Engage positively in school life, supporting wider initiatives, events, and staff meetings.
Year 3 Primary Teacher – Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Strong understanding of effective teaching strategies and assessment practices.
- Commitment to delivering inclusive, high‑quality teaching that supports every learner.
- Secure knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive classroom practice.
- Ability to foster a warm, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
- A professional, reflective approach and commitment to upholding Teachers’ Standards.
