Year 3 Teacher

At Teaching Personnel, we collaborate with nurturing schools where you’ll have the chance to make a positive impact on young learners and support their progress through the KS2 National Curriculum. Supportive schools in M43 are looking for a Year 3 Teacher for the new academic year. The role will initially cover the class for the full Autumn Term, with the potential to become a more permanent position for the right candidate.

What does the role entail?

The teacher will be responsible for delivering an engaging, high‑quality Year 3 Curriculum that follows school guidelines and the KS2 National Curriculum. You’ll maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment that supports academic, social and emotional development. The role includes promoting pupil wellbeing, encouraging positive behaviour and communicating effectively with staff and parents. Flexibility is essential, as you will adapt teaching to meet the varying needs, behaviours and abilities within the class to ensure every child is supported across the curriculum.

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally lower KS2
  • A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Confident classroom management and the ability to deliver stimulating lessons
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
