Are you a passionate and dedicated primary teacher looking for a new opportunity from September?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Class Teacher to join our vibrant and welcoming primary school in Accrington.

You will be working in a forward-thinking school with a strong leadership team, a collaborative staff culture, and well-behaved, enthusiastic pupils who love to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community

  • Participate fully in school life, including extra-curricular activities and events

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Has experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3 experience is desirable but not essential)

  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and organisational skills

  • Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement

  • Values teamwork and effective communication

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
